But Arsenal's stance has softened in recent days after Manchester United signalled their intent of luring Nasri to Old Trafford by asking the 23-year-old's advisors to keep them informed of his contract situation.
And the club's majority shareholder Kroenke is set to give the go-ahead to increase Nasri's original offer to nearer the £110,000-per-week he is looking for.
The new offer is also understood to include a number of lucrative performance-related bonuses.
