The Senator Ajimobi-led administration has rekindled the hope of medical students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso as the Medical and Dental Registration Council of Nigeria, MDRCN, Abuja has granted an approval to allow the students resit the medical examination.
The ownership tussle between the Oyo State Government and Osun State Government during the administrations of Chief Alao-Akala and Prince Olagunsoye compounded the students problems.
A source told Vanguard that Governor Ajimobi, worried by the complaints of the students, some of whom have spent eight years and above in the school, set up a standing committee to find a way out.
