Off Kofoworole Crescent, Off Awolowo Way, Ikeja – Lagos.With the scratch card, candidates should access and complete the University of Uyo 2010 Pre-Degree Screening Form online and scan their recent passport size photograph (with a red background) on the form.Candidates should also note that the same scratch card will be used to access their performance in the Pre-Degree Screening Exercise.Candidates are required to come for the screening exercise with the following:
- A copy of the Pre-Degree ON-LINE form duly completed carrying the passport size photograph.
- 2010 UTME Result slip.
- Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs (with a red background) with the name and signature of the candidate written on the reverse side.
- HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.
No GSM handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening hall.VENUE: Candidates for the screening exercise are to report at the CBN Auditorium, University of Uyo (Town Campus) on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 8.00 a.m. for the screening exercise.Candidates must possess credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Agricultural Science is accepted in place of Biology for Agricultural Education and Agriculture candidates only), at not more than two sittings in the SSCE (WAEC/NECO or GCE) or equivalent qualifications.Candidates must have taken the 2010 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have had a total score, not less than 180 (One hundred and eighty) in the relevant UTME subject combination i.e. (Use of English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology or Agricultural Science).UME Admission Requirements Into Programmes in the Faculty of AgricultureCandidates should possess at least five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes in NECO, WASC/GCE to include Chemistry, Biology (or Agricultural Science), Mathematics, English Language and any one of Economics, Geography or Physics.
Credit pass in Physics is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into Food Science and Technology, Home Economics or Fisheries and Aquaculture. For other programmes, at least a pass in Physics is acceptable .Admission requirements for pre-degree in Agricultural Education
Five “O” Level Credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Biology (or Agricultural Science) and Mathematics.Five “O” Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Home Economics, Biology and Chemistry.Admission requirements for Home Economics Education NOTE: Credit in Physics is not a requirement for candidates for admission into Agricultural and Home Economics Education.
