Uniabuja's Courses Suspension has been Reversed by FG
This to Inform all the students of Uni Abuja that The suspension of 4 major courses which are; Medicine, Veterinary medicine, Engineering and Agriculture has been reversed by the Federal Government, FG.
This Development gives hope to the students who are studying in the said programmes to graduate in their courses of study.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa' however made this statement that a 6 month ultimatum has been given to the university Vice Chancellor to put in place the necessary facilities needed for the programmes and prepare for accreditation.
This decision by Federal Government was unavoidable as students had continued protests this morning, after a road block was mounted on Umaru Musa Yar'adua Expressway in Abuja.
From our inside source, we learnt that the Ministry of education will dialogue with student representative next week thursday the 12th of April 2012 for the final verdict and lasting solution.
