The Lagos cop-killers were not known the fact

The Nigerian Police and the Nigerian army yesterday commend on those behind the killing of eight cops including a Divisional Police Officer(D.P.O) and Divisional Crime Officer(D.C.O) on the Badagry, Lagos have not been found. The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General MR Azubike Ihejirika and the Inspector General(I.G.P) of Police MR Hafiz Ringim met in Abuja over the killings.
Police authorities have says that, earlier that the cops were allegedly killed in 242 Race Battalion, Badagry, by soldiers after a meeting with the Commanding Officer following alleged killing of a soldier by policemen. The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Raphael Isa denied the allegation saying: “No soldier was involved in the killings.”
Ringim also says during the meeting that those who killed the soldiers will be revealed after a joint investigation by the police and army. He said a soldier was killed earlier before the killing of the policemen and “we both offer condolences.” MR Ihejirika says that investigation will reveal the culprit and urged the media to avoid pre-empting the results. He said soldiers have been living peacefully with policemen and over 850 policemen have recently been trained by the army. “About 160 policemen are living in army barracks in Badagry,” he said.
